Susan Morris
Susan Morris started freelance writing after a British Science Association Media Fellowship in 1998 and was an university-based researcher, teacher educator and manager for 15 years. Susan has a BSc. Honours degree in Science and Management, a Masters plus a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition. Susan serves as a Zero Waste Scotland volunteer, active in Recycle Now, Love Food Hate Waste, Home Composting and Stop the Drop campaigns.
Susan has been growing fruit and vegetables naturally since 2000, writes her Bakestraw Garden blog and is finessing her practical skills in commercial Orchard Care and Management with Scotland's Centre for Production Horticulture, Elmwood College. Susan joined Suite101 in 2008 and was Feature Writer for Seasonal Cooking before concentrating on horticulture and environmental science writing at Suite101.
